This trail guides you past the Church of St. Bartholomew, located in the centre of the village. The exterior of the church is adorn by the bust of Bishop Držečnik, born in the municipality of Ribnica na Pohorju, rather in the village Orlica.
Maksimilijan Držečnik was a bishop in Maribor, responsible for the publication of the full version of the Bible and the establishment of Slomšek's student seminary.
In July 2011, the City of Maribor named a street after him; Ulica Maksimilijana Držečnika, which became the street with the most letters in its name, in Slovenia.
